Set into the side of Frank Clair Stadium's south grandstand, it has the most unusual cross-section in Canadian sports — its lower bowl literally sits underneath the football stadium's seating deck above.
It briefly hosted the NHL Ottawa Senators in their first 1992–93 season before they moved to the suburbs.
