Every figure below is the attendance reported by the linked source for a completed event, in the configuration noted. A source may count tickets sold or distributed, entries scanned, or another measure; when its method is unstated, we do not infer it. The largest number here is the highest figure in this archive — not an all-time venue, league or national record. How we read these numbers.

HOW THIS ARCHIVE IS BUILT
Entries are added by hand from a named source, and each one stores the venue-local event date, the league and season, the teams, the reported figure, the configuration the event was played in, the source URL with its publication date, and the date we last checked it. Unknown attendance is stored as unknown rather than zero, so a missing figure never becomes a statistic.
We do not calculate percentage occupancy for historical events, because the seating layouts those crowds sat in no longer exist. We also do not average a handful of isolated games into a seasonal figure. Ticketing feeds power the upcoming-event listings on venue profiles; they are not a completed-game attendance source and are never used here.
