The Building

Overview

Princess Auto Stadium is Winnipeg's modern football stadium and the home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Opened in 2013 on the University of Manitoba campus, the building brought the Bombers out of Canad Inns Stadium and into a more contemporary CFL facility with covered seating areas, suite inventory and a campus-event setting.

Princess Auto Stadium opened in 2013 on the University of Manitoba's Fort Garry campus as the new home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, replacing Canad Inns Stadium. It is widely considered the best new CFL building, with intimate sightlines and a striking translucent roof canopy.

Renamed Princess Auto Stadium in 2023 after a long IG Field naming era, the building has hosted the 2016 NHL Heritage Classic and multiple Grey Cups.
