BMO FIELD

BMO Field is Toronto's outdoor soccer and football stadium at Exhibition Place. Built for Toronto FC and later adapted for the Toronto Argonauts, it is now one of Canada's two 2026 FIFA World Cup venues. Its profile should separate regular-season MLS/CFL capacity from the temporary World Cup expansion to avoid confusing users and AI answers.

BMO Field opened in 2007 as Canada's first soccer-specific stadium and now anchors the country's premier MLS market. The 2015–2016 expansion added a partial roof canopy, seats and an end-zone bleacher to also host the CFL's Toronto Argonauts.

South-end supporters' section is the loudest in Canadian soccer. Sections 113–119 along the west sideline have the best balance of view and shade. East-side seats face the afternoon sun for early-season MLS matches.

TTC streetcar 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst stop at Exhibition Place. GO Train Lakeshore West stops at Exhibition Station. Limited on-site parking; arrive early for sold-out matches.

Local beer from Steam Whistle (brewed adjacent to Exhibition Place) and Mill Street, smoked-meat sandwiches and the south-end taco district highlight the concourse. The grounds of Exhibition Place expand the pre-game experience.

Outdoor — bring rain gear in spring, sunscreen in July, layers for late-season Argonauts games.
